Wire Feed Welder

Job type

This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Dependable, punctual and safety-minded

Required experience

• Welding experience (shop or field experience considered); candidates must be able to pass a welding test

Preferred experience

• 1 year of welding experience

Responsibilities

• Perform wire fed welding on steel and aluminum components
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and work orders
• Fabricate, fit, and weld parts to specifications
• Operate shop tools and equipment safely
• Inspect welds for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines

Salary

• Starting at $23/hour
• Compensation based on experience; negotiable at interview

We're located at 315 Railroad Street in Ridgeland, WI — just 30 minutes from Menomonie, WI. Reliable commute or relocation before start date preferred.
