Warehouse Associate – Form Preparation Indianapolis, INPay: $18.00–$22.00/hourPosition Type: Full-Time Schedule Information Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM 1st shift Warehouse Associate Requirements Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, construction-material, or equipment-cleaning experience preferred Previous forklift and pallet-jack experience Experience using grinders, hammers, chisels, and other hand or power tools Basic math skills, including counting, addition, and calculating area using length multiplied by width Ability to inspect products and identify damage, debris, or required maintenance Strong attention to inventory, order, and receiving accuracy Ability to complete shipping documents and bills of lading Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of a warehouse team Commitment to PPE, equipment, chemical-handling, and workplace-safety procedures Key Responsibilities Count inbound forms and verify quantities against expected receipts. Inspect incoming forms for damage, shortages, and discrepancies. Document receiving discrepancies and report them to the appropriate supervisor, manager, or team lead. Determine whether forms require cleaning, oiling, repair, or additional preparation. Sort forms according to their condition, category, and size. Use hand tools to remove debris and damaged wood from forms. Operate grinders and other approved power tools to remove dirt and material buildup. Apply water-based form oil using provided spray equipment. Stack cleaned and prepared forms according to category and size. Store completed forms in their assigned inventory locations. Pick prepared forms for transfers and live customer orders. Wrap outbound materials and apply the correct shipping labels. Prepare bills of lading and other required shipping documentation. Operate a forklift and pallet jack to move, stage, and store materials. Repair damaged forms when instructed and within the employee’s training. Maintain clean and organized warehouse and work areas. Complete sweeping, mopping, and general housekeeping duties. Follow all PPE, equipment, chemical-handling, and workplace-safety procedures. Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
