To Apply for this Job Click Here Job ID: 901996 Job Title Sterile Processing Technician Location Wausau, WI | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights | Weekends Only (Friday–Sunday, 12-hour shifts) | Onsite Key Responsibilities Perform decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and storage of patient care instrumentation, equipment, and supplies in accordance with department policy and procedure Support all operational activities of the Sterile Processing Department May work within sterile cores of the Operating Rooms Float to additional regional facilities as needed Adhere to all facility infection control policies, including masking requirements during flu season if vaccination is declined Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of sterile processing experience required At least one prior travel assignment completed required Availability to work weekends (Friday–Sunday) and holidays as needed Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills Certification in Sterile Processing preferred Graduation from a Sterile Processing program preferred; relevant work experience considered in lieu of formal education Why Join Us Expected 36 hours per week with a consistent weekend night schedule at a large regional referral center featuring 21 operating rooms and 35 specialties Opportunity to work at a Level II Trauma Center serving a broad multi-county region in northern and central Wisconsin To Apply for this Job Click Here
