Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Participating in and making sales calls to new and existing customers.
- As appropriate for the business: blending, delivery, delivery/transport and setup of equipment, equipment maintenance, inventory management, sales planning, customer data management, etc.
- As appropriate for the business: Soil sampling, plant sampling, product testing, product applications, and field scouting in production agriculture areas. Assisting experienced salespeople/crop advisors with crop care/turf care activities to also include computer input of application tracking, scouting reports, and other spreadsheets as needed.
- Participation in educational opportunities as identified and assigned by management.

Typical Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Relevant Experience
- Some knowledge of agriculture and/or horticulture.
- Experience or college courses in Marketing/selling preferred.
- A farm background (or some experience on a farm) and/or in the landscape/golf industry preferred.
- Ability to operate 4-wheel drive and/or ATV vehicles off road or on farm roads.
- Strong communication and presentation skills and proven ability to work with others to accomplish objectives.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office programs.
Required Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License
