You will partner closely with finance teams across the organization to strengthen controls, improve processes, and deliver high‑quality insights for senior stakeholders. This role offers broad exposure to corporate accounting, legal entity governance, and regulatory and external reporting. If you enjoy solving complex problems and improving how work gets done, you’ll thrive here.

Job summary

You will contribute to quarterly and annual external reporting deliverables and holding company regulatory reporting. You will work in a collaborative environment where strong judgment, attention to detail, and clear communication are essential.

Job responsibilities

  • Perform monthly legal entity close activities, including parent/subsidiary accounting and equity method accounting
  • Review intercompany balances and breaks, investigate variances, and drive timely resolution with partners

  • Prepare monthly analytical reviews to validate completeness and accuracy of legal entity financial statements
  • Produce recurring management and reporting packages, including variance commentary and key drivers
  • Support quarterly and annual external reporting deliverables, including required disclosures and supporting schedules
  • Contribute to holding company regulatory reporting through data preparation, review, and documentation
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve issues; respond to ad hoc requests with clear, well-supported conclusions
  • Partner with line-of-business finance teams and the broader controllership community to align on priorities and deliverables
  • Participate in firmwide legal entity reporting initiatives, including process and infrastructure improvements
  • Help maintain a strong control environment through documentation, controls execution, and continuous improvement

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance
  • Strong accounting and analytical skills, with the ability to explain income statement and balance sheet movements
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, well-controlled work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex topics clearly
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence outcomes with stakeholders
  • Strong initiative, ownership mindset, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint
  • Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial analysis

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification (or progress toward certification)
  • Experience supporting legal entity accounting, intercompany accounting, or corporate controllership functions
  • Familiarity with external reporting processes (quarterly/annual reports) and related controls
  • Exposure to holding company regulatory reporting and governance expectations
  • Experience driving process improvements, automation, or control enhancements in finance
  • Experience working in a large, complex financial services organization
  • Ability to create clear, executive-ready materials (narrative + visuals) for senior stakeholders
