AWS Solutions Architect – SC cleared

Solutions Architect (AWS) Active SC clearance £600-£625 day Inside IR35 6 month initial contract Remote with adhoc onsite meetings in London Active SC clearance – essential SR2 is recruiting an AWS Solutions Architect to join a consultancy supporting a complex technology transformation programme. We’re looking for someone with strong end-to-end solution architecture experience, a solid AWS background and the ability to work closely with both technical teams and senior stakeholders. Due to the quick turn around required and the secure nature of this work, applicants should have active SC clearance. Unfortunately we cannot put you apply for SC clearance for you if you do not already have this. The role: Design end-to-end solutions across AWS, applications, data, integrations and infrastructure Translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions Produce architecture diagrams, solution designs and migration documentation Provide architectural guidance throughout delivery and resolve technical challenges Support architecture governance and assurance, including AWS Well-Architected principles Work with and influence a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders Requirements: Strong Solution Architecture experience on complex programmes Hands-on commercial experience designing solutions within AWS Broad knowledge across applications, data, integration and infrastructure Architecture governance / assurance experience TOGAF or similar architecture framework experience Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, cloud security or other cloud platforms would be beneficial.
