AWS/Java Full Stack Developer

Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on development expertise, cloud architecture knowledge, and the ability to independently drive complex implementation initiatives. This role requires a self-motivated professional who can work directly with business stakeholders, translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, and lead development efforts across modern cloud and data platforms. Key Responsibilities & Qualifications: 8+ years of hands-on development experience with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects, work independently, and drive implementation initiatives from requirements gathering through deployment. Collaborate directly with business users and stakeholders to understand functional requirements, adapt to evolving business needs, and deliver effective technical solutions. Strong experience developing and supporting applications using Java, TypeScript, DB2, and Snowflake. Must have hands-on AWS Cloud experience, including Airflow, ECS Fargate, Lambda, and Aurora. Solid understanding of AWS infrastructure deployment, environment configuration, testing strategies, and resiliency/high-availability architectures. Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude to improve development efficiency and code quality. Preferred Attributes: Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision. Strong technical leadership skills with a focus on delivering scalable, reliable, cloud-native solutions. Experience working within Agile development teams and modern software delivery practices.
